5th Bn., 52nd AMD:
SOUTHWEST ASIA – The B Battery “Bulldawgs” of 5th Battalion, 52nd Air and Missile Defense, 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, conducted a week of Table VII certification training before its Table VIII crew validations that began Sept. 11.
Table VIII crew certification exercises such as these are conducted six times a year to ensure the 11th ADA Bde. Soldiers are proficient at their individual and team tasks.

B Battery is deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The Soldiers train and certify in temperatures that regularly reach hotter than 115 degrees Fahrenheit. This type of stress-based training is essential to guarantee that air defenders are able to respond whenever there is a need.
Capt. Steven J. Kline, battery commander, was on site throughout the process and said he was proud of the way his Soldiers were performing.
“I am impressed with the quality of the Table VII training my Soldiers are performing for this upcoming Table VIII,” said Kline. “These Soldiers have the heart and drive to exceed the expectations that are put before them. Everyone should sleep well at night knowing that the Bulldawg Soldiers are diligently defending the skies.”
The Soldiers will continue to train and improve their proficiency until their mission is complete.
