Soldiers come home
230th Finance Co., 540th MP Bn. return from
respective deployments

Nearly 100 Soldiers from C Detachment, 230th Finance Company, stationed here, and the 540th Military Police Battalion, a Reserve unit from Omaha, Neb., returned Sunday from their respective deployments to Iraq.

Soldiers from the 230th Finance Co. were deployed for 15 months, while those from the 540th MP Bn. were mobilized for 12 months, 10 of which were spent in Iraq. The MPs were in charge of a theater internment facility at Camp Bucca, Iraq, at one point commanding 11 companies under their battalion.
