The newest Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, landed at Fort Bliss Tuesday morning and met with top military leaders to discuss the Army Force Generation plan and attend the Fort Bliss re-signing ceremony of the Army Family Covenant.
Fort Bliss is the first Army installation McHugh has toured since becoming the 21st Secretary of the Army. The decision to tour the post, McHugh said, was based on a desire to visit a place that epitomized the future of the Army and a close partnership between the military and civilian community. ...
